Homes along the Deschutes River
The River West neighborhood is one of Bend's oldest neighborhoods, and is quickly becoming one of Bend’s most desirable locations. Located just west of Downtown and Drake Park, most of the River West is within walking distance to some of Bend’s most popular areas. Many locals typically refer to the River West neighborhood simply as The Westside.
The River West includes much of the original mill town and mill homes close to Downtown. Over the recent years many of these homes have been remodeled and updated into charming little bungalow homes, or even expanded into larger 2-story homes. Along the west shore of the Deschutes River across from Drake Park are some of Bend’s most picturesque and priciest homes. This part of town is also close to the mountains and trails so if it's a quick trip to the mountain or a mountain bike ride from town you are looking for, this may be the part of town for you.
