Awbrey Butte has many diverse neighborhoods. The southern side of the butte has some older neighborhoods with gorgeous views of Downtown Bend and Mt. Bachelor. Newer neighborhoods are situated on the west, north, and east sides of the mountains and have a whole range of views from the Three Sisters, Black Butte, Mt. Jefferson to Mt. Hood, Smith Rock, and Pilot Butte. The Awbrey Butte area is also home to two golf clubs, The Awbrey Glen Golf Club and River’s Edge Golf Resort.

Awbrey Butte is heavily forested in most places and larger than normal lots create a lot of wildlife habitat and a very private, open feel. Expect quiet streets, often with deer grazing in front yards.
