Mountain View

Providence Park

The Mountain View area extends north of Highway 20 (Greenwood Ave), east of Pilot Butte, and up to the area of Butler Market Rd on the north. This part of town includes many commercial and industrial areas, St. Charles Hospital, and some of Bend's more affordable new developments. Highway 20 is the southern boundary of the area and is one of the main business streets of Bend. You will find plenty of shopping and restaurants close by, including The Forums shopping center which houses a Safeway, Wild Oats, Costco, Linens & Things, and numerous other stores. The eastern neighborhoods often have some of the best mountain views in town, being situated at a slightly higher elevation than Downtown and the Westside.
