COTA Spring Fling
On June 7th please join COTA members as we celebrate our trail system with the Spring Fling work party. We will meet at the parking lot in front of Webcyclery at 8am (550 SW Industrial way) and proceed out to several work locations to work on both maintenance and building trails.
Spring Fling is also a fundraiser and membership drive for the Central Oregon Trail Alliance and to entice members new and old to join we have a bunch of incentives. Among them are
-BBQ and beer from the Decshutes brewery
-Raffle for a "Niner" single-speed frame( must join cota to enter)
-Raffle with tons of Swag from all our local bike shop corporate members
-Music from Blackstrap
-Annual COTA awards presentation
Here's a break down of the days schedule
-8am-meet at Webcyclery ( those who arrive early will be able to sign up for their favorite work area)
- 9am-1pm work parties spread out to Wanoga(yes Wanoga), COD, Lower Whoops, Phil's Trailhead etc.
-1:30-5pm BBQ , music, beer and awards back at the Web parking lot
Here's how the raffle for the "Niner" frame works, If you join COTA between now and July 4th at the $30.00 level, you will be entered to win the frame. Currently you can join COTA via pay pal on our web site, or you can join at either Webcyclery or Pine Mt. Sports to be eligible.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Webcyclery for graciously hosting our 2008 Spring work Party and to thank all of our loyal members both individual and corporate for their continued support. As a non-profit organization COTA has grown in membership and infrastructure over the years while staying true to it's mission of making our trail system the best it can be.
