Open Space and Cascade Views at River Rim

Just like the name implies, this neighborhood was built on the eastern rim of the Deschutes River. Many of the homes back right up to open ground that drops suddenly into the Deschutes River Canyon. These, of course, are some of the more expensive homes, but the rest of the neighborhood is of equal quality and enjoys the privacy that comes with no through traffic access. The neighborhood is cleverly designed with small round-abouts that serve to slow traffic in much the same way that a speed bump does without the annoying �bump� part. This also serves to breakup the usual monotony of straight strait uninterrupted streets. There is a wonderful park with covered pavilion and playground equipment for children. Overall there is a wonderful family feel to the neighborhood, but the quality kitchens and nicely landscaped yards are perfect for those adult dinners and barbecues.
