Large Quiet Lots perched on the Hill
The West Hills Neighborhood is the original Aubrey Butte Neighborhood built in the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s. It is literally carved into the lava rock on the south side of Aubrey butte facing the downtown area. Many of the homes have views of the city and Old Mill District and a few even boast mountain views, including Mt. Bachelor. The homes are older but in most cases remarkably well cared for. The neighborhood is very desirable mainly due to the views and ideal downtown location. Around 30% of the homes have been remodeled and updated and every year more undergo the same work. Many think that this area will be desirable for years to come and a purchase here would not only be a wonderful place to live, but a good investment.
