Whispering Pines

Amazing views from West Whispering Pines

Located in North Bend just East of Tumalo, this hillside neighborhood offers most of its properties views in one direction or another. From the west the Cascade Mountains stand larger than life and from the east one can see Smith Rock, Powell Butte, and the Eastern High Desert. The popularity of this area is not only the views but also the elbowroom. Lot sizes range from 1.5 acres to 10 acres and there are no CCRs. The area was originally occupied with many older manufactured homes, but in the last 10 years many of these have been replaced with higher quality, larger homes. This has ultimately raised property values here and has generated new interest which in turn is stimulating more new construction. There is little if any formal irrigation here and most of the properties are “dry”, meaning any irrigation comes only from the property well. For those looking for space and lots of RV parking, this area is perfect. Some properties do have horses, but other livestock would be a little difficult.
