Northeast Bend Acreages

Northeast Bend is still home to old farms and ranches

Northeast Bend has been undergoing quite a bit of subdivision development over the last 5 years. However, just outside of the City Limits most of the land is still open pasture and ranch land. Parcels range in size from just a few acres to 300 acres. Northeast acreages cover a large area from the city of Bend to Powel Butte to the east. Most of these properties have irrigation unlike some of the acreages in southwest Bend. Irrigation canals and ditches course through this country like veins on a giant arm which gives many properties the peacfull sound of running water and a built in water feature. Farm animals of all kinds are common including cattle, sheep, horses, and llamas. The serious rancher could live here alongside the hobbie farm with recreational horses.
