Westside Home on the Deschutes River
The Old Westside neighborhood of Bend is bounded the Deschutes River on the east, NW 14th and Century Drive on the west, Newport Avenue on the North, and NW Albany Avenue on the south. This neighborhood is close to downtown and offers quick access to the Phils network of trails West of town, Mt. Bachelor, and Cascade Mountain recreation opportunities. This neighborhood is a mix of some of Bend's most upscale homes, many early 1900's mill workers homes and original craftsmans, and newly constructed homes in many forms on highly desirable Old Westside lots. NW Galveston Avenue runs through the middle of this area and offers many popular ammenities including restaraunts, clothing boutiques, and the highest concentration of bike shops in Bend.
