Foxborough

Craftsman Style Homes

Palmer Homes is a Bend area developer that has focused on providing well-built affordable homes with craftsman details that one typically sees in more expensive homes. Foxborough is a perfect example of this. The homes are each uniquely styled and the neighborhood design offers a feeling of community. The floor plans tend to be open and have a spacious feel to them. The lots are somewhat small but well landscaped and easy to keep up. All garage access is through private alleyways that between the homes which helps to deter crime. Being located in southeast Bend means lower traffic volume and snow than the west and north sections. Several nearby golf courses and quick access to the Old Mill District (shopping, movies, and dinning) are added bonuses. The development was completed around 2002 and owning a home here is not plagued with ongoing construction, however, some of the homes do back up to the railroad. There are no HOA dues or additional expenses to ownership.
