We have labled this part of town "Old Westside Bend" to differentiate it from the newer subdivisions to the West that are lumped into the "Westside Bend" category.

This part of town includes the highly desirable neighborhoods along the west side of the Deschutes River, old mill workers homes in one of Bend's oldest neighborhoods, and a variety of new and interesting homes being built along Newport Avenue and on available lots throughout the Old Westside neighborhood.

Old Westside Bend is also home to three popular commercial areas - Newport Avenue, Galveston Avenue, and Century Drive. These three corridors are home to many fine resataurants, bike shops, ski shops, boutiques, grocery stores, and just about anything else you would need to enjoy the ammenities of Bend.
